4th Dan Taiji Spear is a pre-requisite in Singapore Instrustor Certification Examination.

Yang Style Taiji is created by Grand Master Yang Lu Chan, whom was decried as 〝The unbeatable〞。 Yang Cheng Fu (1883-1936, 3rd generation of the Yang family), one of China's great martial artists, standardized the 85 movement form. Today, Yang Style Taiji is among the most widely practised form of Taiji in the world. Taiji practice can help to strengthen joints, assist in muscle development, enhance flexibility and promotes overall well-being. Yang Taiji movements are elegant, light, gentle and concise. It is rich and profound and has practical application usage. This course is divided into 3 parts, each part is 12 lessons.

Master Ooi Kean Seng is an avid taiji practitioner and aspire to promote the sport to more people. He was under various masters in his 40 years of learning journey and has assimilates their teaching.

通背拳,2014年经国务院批准列入第四批国家级非物质文化遗产名录的一种传统体育。 它是中国传统武术拳种,流派繁多,起源不一,流传于北京、天津一带的通臂拳,相传为清末时祁信所创。祁家本以杆法见长,遇河南人马先生精于拳技,便以杆法换学拳技,后又遇赵先生擅刀法,遂刀杆互换,形成了祁门特有的“十二连杆”法、“八步十三刀”法、“一百零八单操手”法,祁家通臂拳始成名于江湖。

八极拳为中华武术拳种之一,取其以六种开法(六大开)作为技法核心、破开对方门户(防守架子)之意。称“八极”者,系沿用古代有“九州之外有八寅,八寅之外有八纮,八纮之外有八极”的说法,寓“八方极远”之意。

八极拳以其刚劲、朴实、动作迅猛的独特风格流传至今,早年因地域不同而被称作“巴子拳”、“八忌拳”、“八技拳”、“开门八极”、“开拳”等。但近代根据其发劲可达四面八方极远之处的特点,以“八极”二字定名。

周悦文老师,七十年代师承上海精武元老郝鸿昌老师和上海八极大师王长典老师学习八极拳。

Bajiquan is a combat-focused style specialising in explosive power at a close range with any part of the body. Each strike is intended to incapacitate the opponent. Training is application-focused and emphasis deep stances, high levels of strength and fitness, and body hardening.

Pushhand places what is learned in taijiquan routine/stances into practical use and the same is true that taijiquan routine/stances provide the fundamentals needed for quality Pushhand practices. One can only be sure that his or her taijiquan practices has been done well after going through the practical test of Pushhand as it can also serves as an evaluation mechanism for the practitioner. Tuishou also lends meaning to the individual stances performed in a taijiquan routine. It can enhance the learning experience, helping any individual learn more effectively.
